Michi-no-Eki Jomon Roman Minamikayabe 縄文ロマン 南かやべ

The only roadside station in Japan built around a National Treasure, Jomon Roman Minamikayabe in Hakodate centres on the Hakodate Jomon Culture Center, which displays the hollow clay figure Chuku Dogu. The Minami-Kayabe area sustained Jomon culture for some 7,000 years, and the Route 278 station also offers tourist information and a shop for its 33 car and 5 large-vehicle spaces.
