Michi-no-Eki Yokozuna no Sato Fukushima 横綱の里ふくしま
Colorful nobori banners line this compact Route 228 station in central Fukushima Town, built around a memorial hall to Chiyonoyama and Chiyonofuji, the town's two yokozuna sumo champions. The hall also hosts the Kokonoe stable's summer training camp, while the adjoining product center sells surumeika squid, for which the town claims Japan's top production.
