Michi-no-Eki Okoppe おこっぺ
Railway history is the surprise in Okoppe, on Route 239, where the station incorporates a transport memorial complex for the now-closed Nayoro Main Line. In the park outside, a converted diesel car works both as a rest room for travellers to gather in and as simple overnight lodging; parking is for 73 cars and 20 large vehicles.
