Michi-no-Eki Sarufutsu Koen さるふつ公園

In Sarufutsu, Japan's northernmost village, this station occupies a corner of the village ranch on Route 238, where sea, land and sky seem to merge along the Okhotsk coast. Its restaurant serves local dishes built around scallops, for which the village boasts Japan's largest catch, and the site also offers a campground and lodging. Parking is built for touring traffic, with 112 car spaces and 28 for large vehicles.
